Description
Our take: WePaint is fundamentally a simple product. First, you have a nice and easy, browser-based paint editor: pick a color and a brush, import an image or images if you want to (you can define multiple layers), and paint to your heart's content. But then things get more interesting: an AI image modifier and generator is layered on top of the paint tool - so you can start with an image, hand-draw over it, and the use AI to turn THAT hybrid into a beautiful watercolor, or pixel art screen, or line drawing.
Simple is good. Simple is powerful. Simple is fast. Simple works. We loved using WePaint, and we intend to use it a lot more; 10 free image generations are included with email signup so you have plenty of room to experiment. We can't get enough of utilities like these that make our lives easier and more creative in little ways. Oh, and it's open source on an MIT license, and we hear more features are coming soon (a library was just added, for example). Great work Travis.
Their spin: Open source, easy, web based AI paint editor.
