Our take: Have you ever been to a record store and found a perfect copy of an extremely rare album by your favorite band of all time? Or maybe you were there when those French soldiers dug up the Rosetta Stone? That's what it felt like finding Chris Pirillo's Arcade. This is the ultimate treasure trove of vibe coding.
It's very hard for us to write this review, because as of press time Chris has uploaded 64 (!!!) different vibe coded apps, and he tells us that 13 more are coming soon. OK, you might be thinking - that sounds like a lot of work, but this guy probably just throws a bunch of slop up and calls it a day. Nope! What's remarkable is that every app we tried not only worked, but contained an element of style that we almost never see with AI-assisted apps.
One app lets you create a custom Star Wars intro text scroll. It works flawlessly. Another is a full-blown implementation of Tetris where excess pieces turn into sand (beautiful, by the way). A third lets your turn any image into dust, then swirl it around with your mouse. A fourth lets you use a literal digital theremin and save your compositions.
That's four. There's sixty more of these guys! Art apps, music apps, productivity apps, design apps. This is the holy grail of vibe coding. We are clearing our calendar to try the rest.
Their spin: Hi, I'm Chris Pirillo - and I could be considered a 'vibe coder!' This arcade is a showcase of my passion for building engaging product & software experiences.
